The Grubmaster role is one of the most challenging and potentially most rewarding positions of responsibility a weekend camping trip offers.  The role involves balancing differing dietary needs, working a budget, figuring out portion sizes and number of portions to plan for, cooking, dehydrating, packaging.  Its a lot.  A good grubmaster looks to have good tasting food, appropriately balanced nutritionally to fuel an arduous activity.  A good grubmaster can plan a pleasant surprise for the adventurers to enjoy in the back country.  

Note:  A grubmaster must run their menu by an adult to ensure it meets the nutritional demands of the journey, and that appropriate accommodations are made for the participants.  The grubmaster should use the trip planning template to submit their menus (the planning template will highlight any dietary restrictions for the crew).
